October 10, 2024Escapade

As the leaves turn their most beautiful hues of gold and scarlet, it's the perfect time to explore nature and recharge your batteries. Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or a thrilling RV adventure, we've put together some original activities that will immerse you in the heart of autumnal scenery. Let yourself be seduced by fall with Terego and its year-round hosts.

Vignoble et Cidrerie Coteau Rougemont

Vignoble et Cidrerie Coteau Rougemont is a beautiful estate nestled on a mountainside, surrounded by woods and orchards. Awarded multiple times over the years, it produces a variety of wines and ciders. Take advantage of the season to go apple picking from different varieties. Their shop also offers products made with the fruits of their vineyard and orchard, as well as various regional specialties from the Rougemont area. Be sure to indulge in homemade pies and pastries! Enjoy the autumn colours in the sun on the terrace or in the heart of the orchard while tasting wines and ciders. Discover their limited edition “Cuvée Création” range. Unique and bold, these cuvées embody their commitment to pushing the boundaries of trendy wines and ciders. This season, try the Petite Perle, a natural organic sparkling wine that reveals notes of strawberries and currants.

Terego members can enjoy a peaceful night in their motorhome or travel trailer. Vignoble et Cidrerie Coteau Rougemont is also available off-season.

Centre d'activités nature Kanatha-Aki

At Centre d'activités nature Kanatha-Aki in Val-des-Lacs, you can rediscover nature in all its beauty and wilderness this autumn. Outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted with the various activities offered, such as zip-lining, forest hiking, fishing, and guided survival sessions in the woods. The survival activity even comes with the “Heli-Extreme” option, which includes a helicopter drop in the middle of the forest. Experience a unique adventure day with a Coureur des Bois who will teach you trapping methods, tracking techniques and the importance of treating our ecosystem and the animals in it with respect for future generations. Various horseback excursions are also available. Explore the fascinating world of horses through trails that wind through the rolling forests of the Laurentians amid the stunning seasonal colours. Head to the top of a mountain to visit Quebec's first wood bison reserve. Enjoy the beauty and silence of this place and observe North America's largest land mammal.

Terego members can sleep in the wild in their RV. Centre d'activités nature Kanatha-Aki is also available off-season.

Bleuetière Goulet

Bleuetière Goulet offers a wide array of flavours and activities year-round. At the farm kiosk, you will always find locally made products as well as a snack bar. You can discover and taste their alcohols, maple and blueberry products, fresh pies, muffins, spaghetti sauce, pizza, and treat yourself at the ice cream shop open all year round. This fall, their dairy bar offers both a cone dipping and milkshake in autumn-spiced flavour, as well as a caramel apple sundae and a decadent sugar pie sundae. While the kids enjoy ice cream, parents can savour maple or blueberry gin!

Since Bleuetière Goulet is a Terego host open off-season, they welcome members in vans or RVs all year round. The forest hiking trails you can explore this autumn transform into 5 kilometres of ice trails for skating in the winter.

L'Abbaye Val Notre-Dame

Abbaye Val Notre-Dame is a symbol of tranquility and spiritual renewal, but it also invites outdoor enthusiasts to adventure. Explore the beauty of the autumn colours in Lanaudière while hiking through the forest and reaching panoramic viewpoints that showcase the majestic surroundings of the region. Whether you are a casual hiker or an experienced one, there is a trail for you, on foot or by bike! The abbey also offers guided nature walks and retreats for yoga or meditation. The shop features a variety of homemade and regional products, including their apple and pumpkin caramel, which is an autumn must-have.

Terego members can spend the night there in their camper or RV. The Abbaye Val Notre-Dame is also available off-season.
